Planning Commission

​​The Alachua County Planning Commission will meet on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Alachua County Administration Building (12 S.E. 1st Street, Gainesville). This meeting begins at 6 p.m.

The Committee will take public comments in person only. The meeting can be viewed on Cox Channel 12, the AC TV app (Apple TV, Amazon Fire, Roku), or the County’s Video on Demand website.

Z24-000005 Fire Level of Service – This is a County-initiated text amendment to the Alachua County Comprehensive Plan Capital Improvements Element to revise Policy 1.2.5(a) by clarifying that existing Level of Service guidelines for fire service response are based on travel time in accordance with National Fire Protection Association standards.
