Detour Announced for SW 41st Boulevard (Fred Bear)

The Alachua County Public Works Department is informing residence that Southwest 41st Boulevard (Fred Bear) will be closed to thru traffic from Sept. 23 through Nov. 15. The closure will be in front of the newly opened HCA Florida Gainesville Emergency Facility for road realignment around the hospital.
Those seeking medical assistance will still be able to access the hospital from either Archer Road or Williston Road. To access the businesses south of the hospital, the public will need to follow the detour signs to Southwest 41st Boulevard from Williston Road.
