Capital and Preservation Projects Supervisor
Danny Moore is a highly experienced seasoned professional with over 25 years of experience in Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Construction. Throughout his career he has honed his expertise in managing very complex facilities, overseeing large-scale maintenance projects, and leading construction initiatives that optimize operational efficiency and safety. In his current role as Alachua County Facilities Capital and Preservation projects Supervisor, he oversees all aspects of Capital improvements, Facilities deferred maintenance, and large scale capital projects from inception to completion. He has a proven track record of managing multi-million-dollar projects, developing cost-effective solutions, and implementing best practices in compliance with industry Construction Standards.
Before joining the Alachua County Facilities Team, Danny served as the Director of Operations, Maintenance, and Construction at the University Of Florida Health Science Center and Vet Medicine Campus where he gained extensive experience developing and managing cross-functional teams and overseeing all aspects of facilities management, including maintenance, repair and construction projects within highly sophisticated critical facilities.
Prior to his time as Director, Danny managed an internal Construction auxiliary effectively working as an In-house General Contractor with skilled trades staff within the University of Florida campus, completing a wide range of capital Improvement projects and deferred maintenance.
