Alachua County Animal Resources offers a variety of services for our community

Offered to Public

  • Medically Necessary Euthanasia (must provide medical records)
  • Rabies vaccines are currently not offered for the public during this time. Please reach out to the other veterinarian practices in town to get this vaccine. 
  • County Licenses (Licenses are only issued over the counter with rabies vaccination done at the shelter)
  • Microchipping
  • Virtual Kennel

Animal Resources does not offer boarding/kenneling services to the public.

  • Shelter and Care for Stray/Unwanted Animals Waiting for Adoption
  • Basic Veterinary Treatment and Vaccinations for Sick/Injured Stray Animals Waiting for Adoption
  • Spay/Neuter Surgery for Animals that have been Adopted from Alachua County Animal Resources
