Lotus Counseling is an outpatient counseling center that provides substance abuse treatment and mental health counseling services to the residents of Alachua County who are justice-involved or uninsured. Lotus Counseling is licensed by the Florida Department of Children and Families and accredited through the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF). Lotus Counseling also provides other services including Anger Management classes, Parenting Classes in collaboration with Partnership for Strong Families, and other topic-specific groups.
All potential clients must be screened and evaluated for appropriateness for outpatient services. If it is determined that outpatient counseling is not the best option, Lotus Counseling staff will work with the resident to access the most appropriate level of care. The appointment for the screening may be made directly by the applicant or through the referral source/agency.
Lotus Counseling does not charge any fees for services.
